This Program is a slightly expanded version of the LIVE Session and is appropriate for Title Agents and Attorneys who attended the LIVE Session and now want to train their in-house personnel via the same presentation as was presented LIVE. We did add many of the HUD FAQS to this presentation as well, but for the MOST CURRENT INFORMATION, we suggest you enroll in the Building the Bridge Program – especially since it contains the new segment on TILA/MDIA.

As you are aware, the RESPA Final Rule went into effect January 16, 2009. The mandatory compliance date for use of the new GFE, HUD-1, and HUD-1A forms is January 1, 2010 – however, many lenders are moving toward early compliance, by using the new GFE form, which automatically accelerates the compliance date on everything else. In other words – the “Compliance Clock” is ticking!! It is essential that title agents, attorneys, closing agents, and settlement/escrow support personnel be fully trained in all aspects of the Final Rule, to ensure full compliance and avoid any unexpected “liability landmines.”
